One of the biggest issues with small business owners is that they think no one does anything the way they do it and therefore it is wrong. To capture the power of everyone in the organization and garner their value, the business owner must learn to delegate some decision making and authority to the employees. This delegation not only captures the energy of the employees put frees the owner up to work on more important issues in the business. The key is to have proper goals and boundaries to guide the behavior and actions so that the overall objectives of the organization are met.
